The Color Run comes to the UK!

Last year I wrote about The Color Run for one of my Motivation Monday posts. Since then I’ve seen multiple photos on Facebook of friends taking part in it (most likely definitely not due to this blog, but humour me for a bit) and it really does seem to be “The Happiest 5K on the Planet”. However, the only downside to it all is that so far it’s only been a US event.

Insanity Update

Wow it’s already November! Which, apart from meaning that supermarkets are starting to pull out all the Christmas treats to tempt you while you grocery shop, means that I’m on week 3 of my Insanity endeavour and time for an update.

When settling in to life at university, a goal for many is to get fit and healthy. Living away from your family gives you the chance to start over with your food choices and the opportunity to focus time on going to the gym without any restrictions on when you have to be back home. Unfortunately, once you’ve settled in to your new routine fall has arrived and with it comes the dreaded flu and cold.
